Advertising Terms & Conditions
General Terms
Once your account is created and your initial deposit ($50 USD) is credited to your balance, we will start to show your banner across our network. Every time a UNIQUE users clicks on your banner, the cost of a click will be deducted from your account balance. We will continue to display your banner and send you clicks until your account balance reaches zero.
A UNIQUE visitor is defined as a single click on a banner from the same IP address within the same 24 hour period. Any other clicks on that banner from the same IP address within 24 hours will NOT be charged to your account. If you have banners in various locations then each banner is treated seperately. Chat-Forum.com log files will prevail in the event of any dispute and are final.
When your account balance falls below $10 USD you will automatically be sent an email to let you know your account balance is running low. You can top up your account balance at any time from your account area however please allow up to 24 hrs for this to be reflected in your account (we have to wait for payment confirmation from our billing agents).
Banners and Images
The ADVERTISER is solely responsible for the supply of suitable creatives (banners) for use in the campaign. Our Free chat service supports two locations 468x60 pixels & 120x60 pixels, only ONE banner can be used per location any one time. You can change the banner associated with your account via your account area. Please allow up to 24 hours for your new banner to be uploaded and made active.
All STANDARD banners must be in GIF file format with a file size no larger than 60kb. Although we do allow 'vague' banner text etc., banners must not be misleading to surfer, e.g. a banner for menswear linking to a games site. We reserve the right to reject any banner for any reason.
Restrictions Of Use
We do NOT allow sites of the following nature to advertise on our network. Advertisers found in breech of this condition will have their account immediately deactivated and forfeit all outstanding credits. Types of sites not allowed in our network, at the sole discretion of Chat-Forum.com Ltd include adult sites, hacking and phreaking, hate, racist, immoral or illegal content or related sites. This extends to the content of banner images and creatives. Chat-Forum.com Ltd reserves the right to cancel any account at any time.
The click through URL for your banner must be the actual page containing your content and not a redirecting service or other URL. Your site must be LIVE at the time you submit your application.
Payment Terms
All payments are in advance and credited to your account balance. The minimum deposit is $50 USD. Payment methods are Check (by post), online secure credit card, or by phone (credit/debit card).
Please allow up to 24 hours after we receive CLEARED payment for your deposit to be reflected in your account balance.
Refunds & Limited Guarantee
If for any reason you would like to cancel your account we will refund all unused credits in your account at the time we DEACTIVATE your account, minus an administration fee of $10 USD to cover our transaction charges. If your account is deactivated because we reject your application we will refund your initial deposit IN FULL (this does NOT apply to accounts that are cancelled AFTER activation for a serious breech of our terms at the sole discretion of Chat-Forum.com Ltd).
To cancel your account you MUST use the 'Cancel My Account' link in your account area. We will deactivate your account within 12 hours of your notification. You MUST use the link in your account area OR send your request in writing sent by POST including the card holders signature to our published address. Cancellation requests will NOT be accepted via email or any other means.
Indemnification
Advertiser shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chat-Forum.com Ltd and its respective agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, and employees against any loss relating to or arising out of ADVERTISER'S product or the content of any Advertisement delivered accurately, including but not limited to materials that violate the right of a third party; materials that are defamatory or obscene; or materials that would constitute a criminal offence.
Chat-Forum.com is not liable to any claims, representation or warranties made by the Advertiser, including but not limited to the contents of their sites. Under no circumstances shall Chat-Forum.com be liable to Advertisers for any loss, injury, or damage, of whatever kind of nature, resulting from or arising out of the advertising program. Chat-Forum.com makes no warranties, either expressed or implied, concerning the performance and functionality of the advertising program and hereby expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. Under no circumstances shall Chat-Forum.com be liable to Advertisers for any loss, injury, or damage, of whatever kind of nature, resulting from or arising out of any mistakes, loopholes in the anti-fraud system, errors, omissions, delays, or interruptions in the receipt, transmission, or storage of any messages or information arising out of or in connection with the advertising program.
Advertisers guarantee that all content on their site is legal to distribute and that they own or have the legal right to use any and all copyrighted material.
