Q: How much does it cost to use this service?
A: Hosting charges : Annual Plan is $75.00 USD per Year with NO set-up fee, and the Monthly Plan is
a one time set-up fee of $15.00 USD and $7.50 USD per month
Q: Do I need my own website?
A: Yes. You must have access to your OWN website, webspace or forum that permits the addition of HTML code in order to use our chat room services.
Q: Do I need any special server requirements like CGI?
A: No! All you need is the ability to add a small snippet of HTML code we supply, we host the servers and bandwidth.
Q: Can I use this service on an illegal content site?
A: NO! This includes illegal MP3s, downloads and hacking sites.
Q: Can I use this service on an adult content site?
A: Yes! LEGAL content adult sites may use our Gold or Pro services (as they do not contain advertising)
Q: Can I modify your HTML code?
A: NO! You may only alter the parts of the code where we allow you to set your own values.
Q: Can I use your service in a 'Protected Area' on my site?
A: YES! If you need support you MUST supply us with a valid password to access your chat page.
Q: Can I remove annoying users from my chat?
A: Yes! You can EJECT users causing a problem on your site, this will ban the users IP address for up to one hour.
Q: How many users can chat at the same time?
A: Our Gold Chat Room allows 40 users to chat at any one time.
Q: Is there any advertising on this service?
A: NO! There are NO banners or pop-ups on this service.
Q: Who can access the chat room?
A: Any user with a Java Compatible browser can use the chat service.
Q: Can WebTV users access the chat room?
A: No. WebTV does not support Java (or much else either!)
Q: Can I set the room to my own colors?
A: Yes. You can set main foreground and background colors for the chat room to fit in with your site.
Q: Can I have staff users?
A: Yes. Our Gold service allows 20 additional staff accounts.
Q: Do you record things my users say?
A: NO! We do not record this type of information, your privacy is assured.
Q: Can users on other websites access my chat room?
A: NO! Your chat room is private to your site, only users visiting your website can access the chat room (it is NOT IRC based!)
Q: Do my users need to register to use the chat room?
A: No! A user simply enters a desired username, if it is not in use the user will be connected to the chat straight away, no registration is required. If you have your own user database you can pass in a username and password and set the chat room to auto connect.
Q: Can my users send private messages?
A: Yes! Users can chat with each other in separate private chat windows.
Q: Can I set my own room title and welcome message?
A: Yes! Your title is displayed at the top of the chat room and welcome message is shown in the room area when a user first connects to the chat room.
